Ground breaking events primarily serve as a photo and publicity opportunity for
a business. It also enables owners to showcase their business for Chamber
members and Elected Officials & Community Council representatives.
The Chamber provides the following services: coordinates the event with the
Elected Officials & Community Council representatives; contacts Chamber
Directors, Ambassadors and Members; provides shovels; and takes photos to
run in the next issue of The Pelican Post Newsletter.

Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings primarily serve as a photo and publicity
opportunity for a business. It enables owners to showcase their business for
